I like the idea of charging spammers and telemarketers (Wired). The only reason such advertising is usefult to companies is because they can do it so cheaply. How many emails can one produce and send for the cost of 1 prime-time commercial? How many cold-calls can a telemarketing firm make for the same cost? The 1 prime-time commercial probably that will not reach as many people.
Okay, it did weird me out that someone could possibly think that I act like I am married. Hopefully, this person was lookng to set me up with someone. I’d hate to think I give people the impression that I am an old fart.
