Oh, hell yeah… Sanford and Son – The First Season (1972) (Amazon)

An explanation on the Sanford and Son post before. If Sanford and Son was on TV, then we watched it. Enjoyed the show as a tyke, mostly because I identified myself with the characters… irreverent, sneaky, and caustic. Scarily, some think I still live up to those qualities. A few years ago, I learned that Demond Wilson is from my dad’s home town and actually my dad knew him.

Ironically enough another TV show I heavily identified with, the Dukes of Hazzard also has a character from my dad’s home town.

Going to go home and watch and vege. Long day.
