Yes, we are fast… it is cause we have our fingers dipped into the web server 24/7. That and it is easier to make a change while you are looking at it than to have someone describe the changes and go back to make them.

Have been looking at certification stuff. Actually, I’ve been looking at education stuff in general. I am tempted to go to graduate school. My only qualm is what kind of program do I want to complete? Industrial Psychology and Instructional Technology (at least the media specialist InstTech programs) are off the table. My top 3 choices MS in Computer Information Systems, MS of Library and Information Sciences, or an MBA.

Certification could be cheaper and more focused. The only problem is the multitude of choices and lack of understanding by employers. It would be great to have it a bunch of job openings for Webmasters listed a particular certification.

Dunno where I stand right now.

I would recommend CISSP certification, with an MIS degree…

If you are serious about IT you may have some options… 🙂

If you are serious about applying for graduate school, I HIGHLY recommend reading Robert L. Peters’ book, “Getting What You Came For.” This book is outstanding, it will take you all the way through considering applying to writing your dissertation. I followed the advice in the book when I did my applying and was accepted into the school of my choice. Anyway, good luck with your higher education!
