Day After Christmas

Day After Christmas: When you get to kick back and attempt to understand what happened on Christmas. Watched Gallipoli and The Jackal on VHS (my DVD player is at mom’s from the incompleted Robotech marathon). Played lots of Perfect Dark, beating levels with simulant assistants.

Found myself working on a list of favorites to publish to a web page. Decided to look through the dictionary for ideas of terms to use. Ran across the word emotion. Immediate negative connations flooded forward… confusion, anger, apathy. Maybe I am the Supreme Emperor of Pessimism? Naw. Felt guilty.

Lots of potential categories for a favorites list. Of course I had to subcategorize some of them like book has classic, fiction, nonfiction, and reference.

I am a member of the Baha’i Faith so I don’t really celebrate Christmas. It really is kind of hard to completely abandon this holiday as most of my family and friends are Christian. So I try to be good and play along. It gets me a week of paid vacation so I play along.

It would be kind of kewl if I could work during Christmas and get 5 Baha’i hoildays off of work.
