ouch… my hard drive crapped out. Bad cluster on the REGISTRY! Means Windows can’t boot. And I was gonna do so much stuff today.

Reformatting partitions. Going to run IBM’s Drive Fitness Test on my bad hard drive. That happens to be a pre-requisite before returning it. Personally, I think when you see the drive light working and hear metal scraping metal, you are pretty much screwed.
